About us

We believe no one should have to sleep in an unsafe place or be held back from achieving their potential. Each year, we support and empower thousands of young people to find a safe place to call home, a chance to thrive and a brighter future.

About us

We work to end homelessness and change the lives of those affected by it.

Every experience of homelessness is different. We offer a range of services that can be shaped for the unique needs and experiences of each young person we work with.

  • Early intervention services: Tackling issues early through family mediation and education workshops in schools.
  • Emergency accommodation: Preventing homelessness by offering a safe place to stay in a crisis through our Nightstop network
  • Longer-term supported accommodation: Providing a stable place to call home alongside tailored support to improve wellbeing and develop the skills needed for independent living.
  • Wraparound support programmes: Empowering young people with the skills and confidence to build resilience, fulfil their potential and contribute to their community.

How we do it

Homelessness is a complex and constantly evolving challenge. There is no ‘one-size fits all’ solution, which is why our approach to ending homelessness is:

  • Person-centred: We tailor our support to the individual – their strengths, needs and goals – recognising there’s no single path to a brighter future.
  • Trauma-informed: We understand the impact of trauma and create safe, consistent and trusting environments where young people can move forward with their lives.
  • Led by lived experience: Young people play an active role in our decision making – shaping services, framing polices, influencing processes – challenging assumptions and guiding what comes next.
  • Evidence-based: Everything we do is rooted in what works, drawing on data, research and insight to deliver positive outcomes for those we work with.

Our 2025-26 commitments

  • We aim to end youth homelessness by delivering and strengthening the services that prevent it from happening in the first place.
  • We will keep the people we support at the centre of everything we do. We will make sure their voices are part of our decision making across the organisation, and we will make the recruitment of staff with lived experience a priority.
  • We will evaluate our work and evidence its impact to improve the quality and effectiveness of our service, and to influence the Government to make changes that improve the lives of people at risk of homelessness.
  • As part of the Depaul International Group of organisations, we will share and exchange knowledge, expertise and experience to improve the lives of people at risk of homelessness, and to influence policy at a national and international level.
